I attended Stan Mitchell's Sunday School class when he was Associate Pastor at Christ Church in Nashville. When he moved on to start GracePointe Church, I followed him.

I remember coming home at 4 in the morning, after Bill Gaither's plane had dropped me off in Nashville, and I would still get up and go to church. I knew if I missed Stan's class, I would miss something important. So, I got up and went.
