Saturdays with Mark & Tony
Check it out

Today is a great day
My computer crashed the day before Tony Campolo arrived. I ran it to the Mac store. They sent it off for repair. I got it back this morning.

I eagerly opened it, hoping they had fixed it and my hard drive was okay...especially, everything that was on it.

When I hit the start button, it fired up and said, 'Welcome to Mac OS X.' Which meant, all was lost. I lost everything.

I just ordered two big hard drives. From this day forward, everything will be backed-up, saved, never-to-be-lost-again.

Yesterday was 9-11. It was so heart-wrenching to re-watch all that I had witnessed from my houseboat five years ago.

Yes, m y computer crashed and all it's contents were lost...but nobody died.

Today is a great day.

Jay's in the news...
Look what I read today!

I interviewed Jay Bakker two weeks ago on The Mark Lowry Show. (Click here if you missed it.)

The Mark & Cali Show
The Mark & Cali Show is finally up. It's just the pilot but tell us what you think. This is sort of a take-off of Regis-and-Kelly-meet-Beauty-and-the-Beast...

Last call for Tony and Mark!
If you haven't called our free voicemail service to leave a question for Tony and/or Mark, call: 1-866-698-8786. We must have your questions by midnight tonight!

I found an interesting video
on YouTube that would be a chore, but an unbelievable thing to do... especially if you have children. Here's my idea: As soon as the child can open its eyes, start taking a picture every day. Then, when they're 18 and you kick 'em out, you just line up the eyes. Then, your child can watch itself grow up and get old. I've been able to watch myself age by viewing old Gaither videos. To get an idea of what I'm talking about, watch the video below.

The concerts in Lancaster, PA
at the American Music Theater went well. They always do. Stan Whitmire couldn't be with us because of a previous engagement, so we took Geron Davis. He was incredible. I had him tell the story behind the song he wrote, Holy Ground. Also, The Voices Of Lee, an incredible ensemble led by Danny Murray and representing their school, Lee University, were also with LordSong and me.

This theater has been selling out my concerts for years. I don't know how they do it. There are a few other places that sell out, but not every year. And they sell it out twice - a matinee and an evening. I love Lancaster. It's where all the Amish live and cook their incredible meals. They have Amish buffets up there, somewhere. I don't remember, exactly, where because I'm never driving. I'm always on a bus and you can't really pay attention to where you're going when you're on a bus because you're too busy talking to everybody in the back, or in my case, sleeping in my bunk...which is my favorite place to be. There is no sleep like what you get in the bunk of a bus. The rumble of the road. The swaying of the bus. The swerving of the driver when he nods off... just kidding.

The Mark & Tony Show
I'm looking forward to this Saturday. We start filming The Mark & Tony Show with Tony Campolo and me. He flies in in the morning and back out that night, so we only have a few hours to get a lot recorded. If you have a question for Tony or me, please email it to: info@marklowry.com, with 'Questions for Mark & Tony' in the subject line. Or, you can leave your question on voicemail at this toll-free number: 1-866-698-8786.
