Who's at the Office?              The Sauer Family Page

Hello reMarkables and all other visitors. I'm Bob Sauer, and I am Mark Lowry's "Office." I have been employed by Mark Lowry since January 1, 1993. It's been a great and wild ride for 18 years.

My wife, Amanda, and I enjoy our four children: Cory (15), Victoria (13), Kendall (11), and Jamie (8). We have a puppy (Sandy) which provides all of us a big bunch of joy, and he deserves an honorable mention.

Cory is a Freshman Honors student at Hendersonville High School and plays on the JV Baseball team; Victoria, a 7th grader, loves animals with all her heart, has become quite an avid soccer player, she has become great at math, she's become a master artist and great reader; and Kendall is just 'boy fearless' - putting the fear of God into us daily. Kendall is mildly autistic and leads a different life as he enjoys all the little things. He's in 5th grade this year and loves it. He recently decided that training wheels were silly and started riding a bike without anyone teaching him. Jamie is the funniest child we've ever met. He spends about ten minutes each morning brushing his teeth twice and putting gel in his hair before a big day in 3rd Grade. He loves playing with his friends and tells his mommy he loves her every day. He recently called 911 (twice) and was visited by the local police both times. The first time it was an "accident." The second time he "forgot what he was supposed to say when he accidentally called 911 again." (Does this sound oddly like anyone you know at that age???)

We live in the quiet community of Hendersonville, TN, by Old Hickory Lake, just 25 miles north of Nashville. We've been here for thirteen years and love it.

Amanda's parents, known as 'Grandma Dixie' and 'Grandpa Jimmy' used to live 700 miles away. When their grandkids came along, they moved to Gallatin, TN, which is within 15 miles of us. In the summer of 2001, they decided that was just too far away, so they moved into a home just three doors down and across the street. They have since moved into a nearby Retirement Center.
